The newly branded acquisition label leverages Paramount Global’s vast worldwide distribution channels, across home entertainment, streaming, television and other platforms, to distribute a wide range of acquired films. Republic Pictures is an acquisition-only label under Paramount Pictures.
Recent Republic Pictures acquisition titles include BLACKBERRY (Berlin 2023) and SELF RELIANCE (SXSW 2023) as well as William Friedkin’s final film THE CAINE MUTINY COURT-MARTIAL which world premiered at Venice in 2023, TIFF world premieres THE END WE START FROM (2023), MILLERS IN MARRIAGE (2024) and MOTHER MOTHER (2024), Sundance 2024 world premieres THE GREATEST NIGHT IN POP and ROB PEACE and Venice 2024 premiere SEPTEMBER 5. Additional recently announced titles include TWINLESS and BAD APPLES.
