“Tulsa King” is heading back into production in Atlanta and Oklahoma, as the Sylvester Stallone-led series has been renewed for a third season at Paramount+.
The mob drama, which launched in 2022, earned a great deal of buzz as part of “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan’s overall deal with Paramount. The Season 2 premiere, which dropped in September 2024, garnered 21.1 million views becoming the most-watched global premiere for the streaming service. The second season currently holds a perfect 100% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The cast includes Stallone, Jay Will, Max Casella, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, Vincent Piazza, Dana Delany, and Annabella Sciorra. Season 2, which followed Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi and his crew as they faced new enemies in Tulsa, added Neal McDonough and Frank Grillo.
“I can’t tell you anything that I’ve read in those episodes, but I am excited,” Starr told Collider recently about the upcoming season, of which he already read the first two episodes. “This new season is going to be a lot of fun. It looks already like there’s going to be a lot of action, and there are some loose ends that may or may not get tied up.”
“Tulsa King” is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Along with Stallone and Sheridan, executive producers include Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Braden Aftergood, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich and Keith Cox. Erickson serves as showrunner.
“Tulsa King” is just one of Sheridan’s growing slate of series on Paramount+, which includes “Landman,” “1923,” “Lioness,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” “1883,” and “Lawmen: Bass Reeves.”
